WEST PALM BEACH - Churchillians celebrated a quiet end to 2007 last night with many families deciding to take in the changing of the calendar at home.
That is: until 12:09.
The multicolored ball drop on Times Square in New York had nothing on the Mar-a-lago fireworks show put on by Donald Trump.
Regis Philbin had told viewers earlier in the day that he was planning to party with The Donald on New Year's Eve in Florida.
If Regis was there, he saw a 20 minute show that included yellow smiley faces, red hearts and green dollar signs.
The fireworks show was visible from homes in the 300 block of Churchill, lighting up the sky until nearly 12:25 a.m.
