Commissioner in the neighborhood

Less than a year after being elected to the Palm Beach County School Board, east of Olive Churchil Road neighbor Bob Kanjian was appointed this month by Gov. Charlie Crist to serve on the Palm Beach County Commission.

Mr. Kanjian, who owns this $1.8 million beauty three houses west of the Intracoastal, established residency in his new district by taking the address of his brother's Lake Worth townhouse.
